Speed Reading Training (MM 3)

Description:

This course increases delegates reading speed. It introduces a variety of tools to accelerate the reading speed and to maintain the high speed. It allows delegates to choose the text desired to read and thus to avoid reading unnecessary text. Delegates get insights in the functioning of the eye and working of the mind.

This course has been taught successfully to Executives, Bankers, Journalists, Lawyers, Public Relations Officers, Public Sector Employees, Research Fellows, Graduate Students and Children.

Aim:

To provide a means by which people who are flooded with information can absorb it quickly and precisely, to generate quality results.

Objectives:

On completion of the course, delegates should be able to:

1. Accelerate reading speed by 10-fold, depending on duration of the course
2. Read 3 times quicker than before whilst absorbing the same amount of information.
3. Increase the level of retention by combining speed reading with memory techniques.
4. Understand an author's objective and key message.
5. Have insights about the functioning of your eyes.
6. Understand the basic functioning of the brain with regards to reading.
7. Understand how the brain processes information.

1-day: Initial speed x 3
2-day: Initital speed x 5
3-day: Initial speed x 10
